For anybody who knew him, knows he was one of the coolest guys around. He was a friend of many people. Anybody around him could see that he was something special. Hopefully people that knew him will remember Cody and be thankful that he was a part of your life. Never pulled any punches and had the best laugh anybody could ever ask for. I was very blessed to have such a great friend and teammate. Love you man.

I met Cody Bowers in 8th grade. Through academics, athetics, and travels, I enjoyed the pleasure of his friendship for over 12 years. He was an intelligent, charismatic, and talented individual; and his contributions to the world will be sorely missed... even by those who didn't know him. His generousity, character, and wit will be missed by those who did... A great citizen, a great friend, and a great loss; I remember this man with a true fondness. Rest in Peace Cody Bowers. You are missed.
