Knoxville (WVLT) - For twenty three years, the annual Fantasy Of Trees has been a mainstay of entertainment for East Tennesseans.
Officials kicked off the annual event Tuesday night at the Knoxville Convention Center.
It's the annual gala where the Knoxville community gets to dress up and get a sneak peak at all the beautifully lit trees.
The event is always one of the biggest fund raisers for East Tennessee Children's Hospital.
"It is kind of like that old saying, the gift that gives twice, and this year we are buying all new monitors for children's hospital emergency department.", said Ellen Liston of the Children's Hospital.
The Fantasy Of Trees is open to the public today beginning at 9:00am and will run through Sunday.
