Sevierville, Sevier County (WVLT) -- There are new details about the investigation of a Sevier County Sheriff's deputy involved shooting in Seymour, back in September.
District Attorney General Jimmy Dunn says that an autopsy report shows Michael Shane Price was shot twice in the chest by sheriff's deputies who encountered him at the scene of a domestic disturbance call.
But Dunn says none of those shots was fatal.
The fatal gunshot was a shot to the mouth from a 22 caliber pistol.
Dunn says that gun was recovered in Price's possession.
Sevier County Sheriff Ron Seals said Price was shot by deputies when he pointed a gun at them.
Dunn said the investigation is ongoing, but that the TBI has not found any wrongdoing by the deputies.
