Knoxville (WVLT) -- Two people are behind bars, following a morning chase through the streets of Knox County.
It happened Wednesday morning around 8:45 AM when Knox County Sheriff's deputies say Scott Woods, 25 and his passenger, Stephanie Beeler was stopped on violation of probation charges.
Before deputies could get to the vehicle, the suspects fled.
After a chase on Pleasant Ridge Road and Mount Pleasant Road in North Knox County, the two were taken into custody after they crashed their vehicle.
Sources say Woods and Beeler are also wanted in connection with several area robberies and purse snatchings.
Woods will also face charges in connection with the chase.
