Jefferson County (WVLT) -- The court date for two caregivers facing child abuse charges for allegedly taping a pacifier to an infant’s mouth has been reset until next Wednesday.
Noah's Ark caregivers, Kim Ball and Angela Day face child abuse charges.
In September, inspectors from the state Department of Human Services discovered four and half month old Deshawn Toner shut in a dark room with a pacifier taped to his mouth with packing tape.
The Jefferson County daycare has been closed since then.
The reason for the postponement was because a case worker who was supposed to show up did not.
