Knoxville (WVLT) -- Thousands of ‘tweens turned out for Saturday afternoon's Hannah Montana concert at Thompson-Boling Arena, but for one Miley Cyrus fan, the performance meant a little more.
Nazarena Saez, 5, suffers from lung and heart problems and her doctors say she is terminally ill.
But thanks to the Dream Connection, a non-profit organization that helps children facing life threatening or chronically debilitating illnesses fulfill their dreams, Nazarena was able to meet the popular Disney star.
"We were able to get in touch with the Hannah Montana people or the Miley Cyrus people and eventually got tickets to the concert and a meet and greet with Hannah Montana," said Ed Knowling who sits on the board at the Dream Connection.
Nazarena arrived at the concert in a limo with her father, heart doctor and nurse.
Unfortunately, Miley Cyrus's representatives denied Volunteer TV News’s request to accompany Nazarena and her family for the meet and greet.
