FORT CAMPBELL, Ky. (AP) -- Army officials say three Fort Campbell soldiers have been killed in Iraq.
The Department of Defense says the soldiers died from wounds suffered when their vehicle encountered an improvised explosive device. The soldiers were assigned to the 1st Battalion, 327th Infantry Regiment, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division.
The Army says Sgt. Eric Hernandez of Waldwick, New Jersey and Pvt. Dewayne White of Country Club Hills, Illinois died December 4. Capt. Adam Snyder of Fort Pierce, Florida died the next day.
