KNOXVILLE (WVLT) - Knoxville city's Law Director Morris Kizer is resigning from his position.
Mayor Bill Haslam says Kizer will be returning to private practice after serving as the city's law director for four years.
In a statement released today, Mayor Haslam said "His (Kizer) time at the city is in the very best tradition of public service."
