Knoxville (WVLT) - The Knox County Health Department isn't just wishing you a happy, healthy holiday season, they're giving it to you in the form of free flu protection.
Any Knox County resident who is under the age of 50 and medically eligible can receive a free Flu-Mist vaccination.
Flu-Mist is a nasal spray vaccine that offers the same flu protection as a flu shot, without the needle.
The flu mist vaccines were paid for with state and county funds.
They are available for free, while supplies last, at all Knox County Health Department clinics.
