North Knoxville sandwich shop robbed at gunpoint

Knoxville (WVLT) -- Police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred Sunday night around 9:30 PM.

According to investigators, employees of the Subway on N. Broadway were held at gunpoint by two black men wearing colored hoodies and black ski masks.

The robbers demanded they open the store safe where they took an undetermined amount of money.

They were last seen running south down N. Broadway.

    Just to think, my family and I was just there a couple hours prior. Not good!
