Monroe County (WVLT) – A head-on collision killed a Monroe County man on Sunday morning.

It happened around 7:15 AM in Madisonville on New Highway 68.

The Tennessee Highway Patrol says the victim was Kenneth Rogers, 62 of Tellico Plains.

He was driving south when a car going north crossed the center line and in to his lane.

Rogers swerved, but the vehicles still collided head on.
