KNOXVILLE, Tenn (WVLT) The FBI says a man who robbed the Citizens National Bank in the Food City on Morrell Road last week has struck the same bank again.
It's this suspect's third heist in about a month and a half.
FBI spokesperson Gary Kidder says a few minutes before noon, the suspect presented a note to a teller demanding money.
Kidder says the man placed a dark-colored semiautomatic gun on the counter.
Witnesses tell the FBI the man is white, 20-30 years old, about 5’9” tall, and of medium build.
He was wearing a tan ball cap, sunglasses, and a blue button down shirt.
Kidder says this robber appears to be the same man who robbed the same branch last Monday, as well as a BB&T branch on Northshore Drive in Rocky Hill on November 9th.
A reward is being offered for information which leads to the arrest of this individual.
Anyone with information is asked to call the FBI at 865/544-0751 or the KPD at 865/215-7212.
