MAYSVILLE, Ky. (AP) -- A judge in Kentucky has postponed the trial of a woman charged with helping put the remains of a dead foster child in the Ohio River.
Mason County Circuit Judge Stockton Wood disclosed yesterday that he worked in a private law practice with a prosecutor in the case against Amy Baker.
The delay is to give lawyers time to decide whether to ask for another judge in the case.
Marcus Fiesel died after being left bound in a closet in his Cincinnati-area home for two days in August 2006 while Baker and the boy's foster parents attended a family reunion in Kentucky.
