KNOXVILLE (WVLT) -- Knoxville police are investigating the armed robbery of the Breadbox on Sutherland Avenue.
Officers say it happened about 5:25am Tuesday morning.
Employees say a black man, about 5'10" to 6'0" feet, wearing a gray fleece hooded sweatshirt, brown gloves and a red bandanna over his mouth walked in the store and demanded money.
Witnesses say the suspect had a semi-automatic handgun and left on foot.
