Knoxville fire truck crashes while responding to fire

KNOXVILLE, Tenn (WVLT) A Knoxville fire truck was involved in a minor accident while responding to an apartment fire on 5th Avenue this morning.

The accident happened around 9:30 a.m. while Squad 4 was responding to an apartment fire in the alley behind the 2000 block of 5th Avenue.

No firefighters were injured.

KFD spokesperson Brent Seymour says the truck suffered just minor damage and is back in service at this hour.
