Agreement may end Kentucky nurses' strike at ARH

HARLAN County, Ky (WVLT) A tentative agreement may end the nurses' strike at Appalachian Regional Healthcare in Kentucky.

If ratified, it could end the stike that has lasted over three months.

Appalachian Regional Healthcare and the Kentucky and West Virginia Nurses Associations reached the tentative collective bargaining agreement this morning.

The 700 resistered nurses that make up the union will get to vote on the tentative agreement this weekend.

Details of the contract have not been released.
