Morristown man arrested after morning business raid

Hamblen County (WVLT) – One person is facing charges following a Thursday morning business raid in Morristown.

Narcotics and vice agents with the Morristown Police Department, along with the Alcoholic Beverage Commission confiscated fourteen cases of beer and about 58 bottles of various liquors from Adriana's Tienda Mexicana on Lincoln Avenue.

The Morristown Fire Department also seized several large cooking vessels being used improperly during the preparation of food.

The owner of the business, Humberto Torres, 29, is charged with reckless endangerment, storage of alcohol and beer, as well as the sale of alcohol and beer.

Mr. Torres is also facing charges in connection with a gaming device found on the property.

The business is located directly across from Lincoln Heights Middle School.
