KPD investigating early morning crash

(WVLT) - Two men were taken to U.T. Hospital Friday morning after a head-on collision in West Knoxville.

The wreck happened around 3:30am on Kingston Pike and Lebanon Street.

Police say a pick-up truck was headed east on Kingston Pike, and a Nissan Maxima was headed West when the two collided head on.

Both drivers were taken to U.T. Medical center with non-life threatening injuries.

The cause is still under investigation.
