Knox County woman charged with aggravated child abuse

KNOXVILLE, Tenn (WVLT) A Knoxville woman was jailed Thursday and charged with Aggravated Child Abuse.

Patricia Yvette Jones, 28, of Schubert Road was indicted on two counts of Aggravated Child Abuse on December 11th by a Knox County grand jury.

According to court documents, Jones allegedly abused a child less than nine years of age between August 11, 2006, and September 13, 2007.

The indictment says the child suffered serious injuries from the abuse and torture inflicted by Jones.

The child was treated at Children's Hospital, but the extent of his injuries were not noted.

She remains jailed on a $75,000 bond. A court date has not yet been set.

    I wish I could beat her with a cord and paddle. She should still be in Jail. Her sentence was to light!!!!!
