State authorities investigate case of decomposed body

IRVINE, Ky. (AP) -- The state forensic anthropologist is investigating a death after state police found an unburied body at a cemetery.

State forensic anthropologist Doctor Emily Craig says the remains are of an adult male and have been there for less than three months.

The body has NOT been identified.

State police say they found the human remains Tuesday afternoon at the Old West Irvine Cemetery in Estill County.
