Knoxville (WVLT) – Police are searching for the man that fire gun shots into the Hooters on Kingston Pike early Saturday morning.

It happened just before 1:00 AM when according to investigators, a man in his mid-20s got in an argument with an employee over his tab.

A restaurant manager waved the mans tab and told him to leave, but after exiting the restaurant he pulled out a .40 caliber hand gun and started firing shots at the building.

At the same time, a customer was walking out the front door and was hit.

A manager inside the restaurant was also struck by a bullet.

Both were taken to the UT Medical Center in critical condition.

The suspect was seen fleeing the restaurant on foot.

He is described as a white male, 6’0 180 lbs with a slender build.

Witnesses say he was unshaven, missing his front teeth, and wearing blue jeans with rhinestones and a black jacket, also with rhinestones.

He also had a backpack with him and was wearing heavy jewelry around his neck.

The names of the victims have not been released.
