Two men, one from Memphis, escape Arkansas jail

FORDYCE, Ark. (AP) -- Sheriff's deputies in Arkansas say they are searching for two men who escaped from the Dallas County jail.

Deputy Cary Dunn said jailers discovered 20-year-old Humberto Fortanelli and 26-year-old David Shannon Ray missing at about 5 a.m. Monday. Dunn said the two men, who he described as slender built, broke out a window from their cell and squeezed through another small window.

Dunn said Ray, of Memphis, Tenn., was being held on an aggravated robbery charge from Clark County. The deputy said Fortanelli, of Hot Springs, was being held on charges from Hot Spring County.

Dunn said deputies were using tracking dogs to look for the escapees.
