MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP) -- Two children died early New Year's Day in a fire at a Memphis condominium.
Memphis fire officials say the cause of the fire reported at 1:55 a.m. is under investigation.
WREG-TV in Memphis reported that the children, ages 7 and 4, were home alone at the time. The children died at a hospital.
The apartment was located in the Aldens Gate Condominiums in the Hickory Hill area southeast of downtown Memphis.
