13-year old girl bitten six times by two dogs

KNOX COUNTY, Tenn. (WVLT) - Charges are pending against the owner of two dogs that attacked a 13-year old girl Monday morning.

The girl was on her way to her school bus stop around 7:45 a.m. when two boxer mix dogs ran at her in the 6100 block of Ball Road.

Officers say the dogs bit the girl at least six times.

She was able to get back to her house and an ambulance took her to Children’s Hospital. Her condition has not been released.

Officers say there have been past complaints on the dogs.

Animal Control took the dogs to Young Williams Animal Center where they will be evaluated. Animal Control Officers are investigating the incident.
