Frigid weather continues in Tennessee

UNDATED (AP) -- Frigid weather continues in Tennessee for the second straight day.

Lows were forecast for the teens --- some 15 degrees below normal --- and potentially the coldest night of the season.

Some schools in East Tennessee are closed because of snow that fell Wednesday.

Highs Thursday may struggle above freezing.

Temperatures should moderate this weekend---with the lows some 30 degrees higher than mid-week.
