KNOXVILLE, Tenn (WVLT) Knoxville Police have identified a man who they say robbed a North Knoxville bank and fled in a cab Wednesday.
Eric Levi Rickus, 32, of Snyder Road, was arrested just about seven minutes after yesterday's heist.
Officers say around 1:15 PM, Rickus entered the BB&T Bank on Merchants Drive.
Investigators say he handed the teller a note demanding money.
Rickus allegedly fled the scene in a cab which was spotted a short time later on Clinton Highway.
Police spokesperson Darrell DeBusk says right now, it doesn't appear Rickus is wanted in any other area bank robberies.
He is charged with robbery, and he's jailed in lieu of a $75,000 bond.
The money was recovered, and no one was injured.
