CLINTON, Tenn (WVLT) The express lanes are open for some government business in Anderson County.
You now have the option of staying in your car to conduct business with the clerk and trustee's office.
This morning, workers inside were waiting for you to drive up to pay property taxes or get your tag renewal for your license.
Trustee Rodney Archer says he's pleased to offer you another payment option.
"You can do basic transcations for property taxes, one to four or five parcels here is what we are recommending," Archer said. "This is techincally an express service and then basic tag renewals and you can renew handicapped plaquers through the clerk's office.
The drive through hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
