Mississippi father accused of shaking baby to death

FULTON, Miss. (AP) -- Authorities say a 4-month-old baby girl has died at a Memphis hospital and they have charged her father with murder.

Mississippi authorities say 24-year-old Joshua Clark is being held on $1 million bond after autopsy report showed that 4-month-old Kelly Clark died from shaken baby syndrome.

The girl's twin brother is still at Le Bonheur Children's Medical Center being treated for internal injuries.

The children's mother reportedly was in Tupelo, Mississippi, with friends at the time of the incident.

Authorities say she discovered the injuries and took them to a local hospital before they were transported to Memphis.
