DANDRIDGE, Tenn (WVLT) -- A former guard accused of assaulting several juveniles at Mountain View Youth Development Center no longer faces abuse charges.
As part of an agreement with prosecutors the charge against James Clevenger was dropped, after Clevenger stayed out of trouble for six months.
Clevenger was fired from his job at the center shortly the incident, but always maintained his actions were in self defense and he claims the juveniles attacked him.
