Firefighters battle house fire in West Knox County

KNOXVILLE, Tenn (WVLT) Knoxville firefighters are on scene of a house fire in West Knox County.

Crews were called to 5941 Aruba Lane in the Holiday Hills subdivision off McKamey around 1:00 p.m.

Firefighters report smoke in the second floor of the home.

A KFD spokesperson says the owners were not home at the time of the fire, and the fire only caused minor damage.

There are no reported injuries.
