Sevier County (WVLT) - Officials with the Great Smoky Mountains National Park have closed highway 441 through the park between the Sugarland Visitor's Center and Cherokee, North Carolina.
Officials say the higher elevations around Newfound Gap received heavy snow making the roads impassable.
They say they are not sure when the Highway will re-open.
