CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (AP) -- A stripper who reported to Chattanooga police that she was possibly raped by a 13-year-old boy and his uncle ended up charged with touching the boy inappropriately.
Tennessee child protection officials are also looking into a possible parental neglect case.
Police Lt. Tim Carroll said the dancer reported Jan. 7 that she had been raped by the 13-year-old and his uncle after a party.
Carroll said the woman told police she was not positive that she was assaulted while she was sleeping. Police later charged her with sexual battery for allegedly touching the boy inappropriately. No rape charges have been filed but the case is still under investigation.
