Tree falls on car, Jaws of Life needed

Knox County (WVLT) -- A woman’s drive down the 1900 block of Wright’s Ferry road came to a dramatic end Friday morning when a huge tree fell on her car.

According to the Knox County Sheriff’s Office it happened around 10:00 AM while Deborah Nelson, 55 was driving here mini-van northbound on the road.

Emergency crews had to use the Jaws of Life to free her and she was taken to Fort Sanders Regional Hospital for treatment.
