KNOXVILLE, Tenn (WVLT) -- Knox County Commission has finalized a timeline for choosing appointments to eight commission seats and four other county positions, including Sheriff.
If you want to be considered, you can submit your resume to Knox County Commission between February 6th and 8th. Resumes may be faxed, mailed, e-mailed, of hand delivered to:

Also, county commission has set up five workshops to hear from candidates seeking appointment. Those times, dates, and locations follow:
Saturday, February 9th, 9:00 a.m.: Farragut Town Hall: District 5, Seat C.
Monday, February 11th, 6:00 p.m.: City County Building Main Assembly Room: District 1, Seat A; District 2, Seat B; District 4, Seats A & B.
Wednesday, February 13th, 5:30 p.m.: City County Building Small Assembly Room: District 6, Seat A: District 8, Seat B; District 9, Seat A.
Saturday, February 16th, 10:00 a.m.: City County Building Main Assembly Room: Sheriff, Register of Deeds, County Clerk, Trustee.
Tuesday, February 19th: Main Assembly Room, City County Building.
