Man suspected of robbing Knoxville bank runs out of luck in Vegas

KNOXVILLE, Tenn (WVLT) -- A man wanted for robbing a First Tennessee Bank branch in West Knoxville earlier this month has turned himself in to authorities in Las Vegas, according to Knoxville Police.

James Alexander Dail, Jr., 35, of Charlotte, North Carolina, gave himself up on Sunday. KPD spokesperson Darrell DeBusk said investigators had pinpointed Dail as the suspect in the robbery on January 18th, 2008, at the First Tennessee Bank branch on Downtown West.

He is currently awaiting extradition to Tennessee.

With the arrest of Dail, Knoxville Police now say they have solved all seven bank robberies in Knoxville since the beginning of the year.
