KNOXVILLE, Tenn (WVLT) -- After 14 months on the run, one of Morristown's Ten Most Wanted was captured and put back in prison.
Well, for a few hours anyway.
Jennifer Davis, 30, was captured Sunday in Knoxville. She had been wanted since November of 2006 when she was indicted during Operation Dead End, on charges of delivery of cocaine, and casual exchange of marijuana.
She was transported back to Hamblen County Monday afternoon and booked into the jail there under $100,000 bond. She made the bond a short time later.
According to a news release, Davis told investigators that she was not running, but that she wasn’t going to walk in the front door (of the Police Department) and say “here I am.” She did let investigators know that she was “glad it’s over.”
