FEMA trailers headed to Tennessee

Knoxville (WVLT) -- Some of the 7,000 trailers bought by the federal government for victims of Hurricane Katrina are being sent to Arkansas and Tennessee.

FEMA officials say the trailers, stored at an airport in Hopewill, will "Definitely be used after requests by state officials."

The agency prefers putting homeless storm victims in rental properties, but that may be difficult in the rural areas where the storm caused the most damage.
