Illness and winter weather has forced several East Tennessee schools to delay opening or close altogether.

    Knox County schools seems to want people to think our kids are not sick. That is far from the truth. The kids and the faculty are going home sick and some teachers are not able to stay out sick because there aren't enough substitutes so cover the classes. The numbers given to the media are wrong.
