UPDATE: Troopers release name of fatal high speed chase victim

MORRISTOWN, Tenn (WVLT) -- The Tennessee Highway Patrol is investigating whether or not alcohol was a factor in a deadly accident on I-81 in Hamblen County.

57 year old Kenneth Marrow of Seymour died when his car crashed into a guardrail and some trees around 3:30 Monday afternoon.

A Tennessee Highway Patrol spokesperson says marrow refused to stop for police, then crashed and was ejected from the vehicle.

THP says the car was used in a hit and run in Jefferson County.

A source close to the investigation says Marrow had a previous history of driving under the influence and beer cans were found in the car.
