KNOXVILLE, Tenn (WVLT) -- The case against a former UT walk-on football player and his co-defendant is now in the hands of the grand jury.
Authorities say in June, they pulled over Justin Jackson, 21, and found him in possession of crack cocaine and marijuana.
Jackson is a former West High School and Maryville College standout.
Shortly after Jackson's arrest, Head Coach Phillip Fulmer announced he was no longer on the team.

A co-defendent, identified as Guy Ranson Jenkins, 25, also faces drug possession charges.
