Black Crowes to headline Chattanooga's Riverbend festival

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (AP) -- The Black Crowes will headline this summer's Riverbend music festival in Chattanooga.

Festival promoters say the rock band will perform Friday, June 6, on the main stage of the festival held on the banks of the Tennessee River.

The Black Crowes first formed in Atlanta and are best known for their early 1990s hits, "Hard To Handle" and "She Talks To Angels."

Other acts confirmed for the festival from June 6-14 include ZZ Top, country star Josh Turner, The Ohio Players and America, who will play with the Chattanooga Symphony Orchestra.
