Union Co. teacher on leave for inappropriate conduct

Union County (WVLT) -- A union county teacher is on leave with pay.

30-year-old Leah Cheek was placed on leave after school leaders determined she engaged in inappropriate conduct.

She is a teacher at Horace Maynard Middle School.

An investigation is pending.

    She flashed her breasts at an adults only biker rally. Not the best decision, but certainly didn't harm anyones child.

    Your story makes it sound like she was inappropriate with a student. She was not! What happened was on her personal time and away from school with adults.

    She also worked at Claiborne High School as assistant girls basketball coach.
