Shooting inside KY fast food restaurant

JACKSON, KENTUCKY (WVLT) – Officials confirm to our sister station, WYMT, that one person has been shot inside a fast food restaurant Breathitt County, Kentucky.

It happened early Friday afternoon at the Hardees on Highway 15 S in Jackson.

Kentucky State Police say at least one person was struck by a bullet, and has been taken to the nearby Kentucky River Medical Center.

Jackson is located about 30 miles north of Hazard and 85 miles southeast of Lexington.
