MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (AP) -- Authorities say a Murfreesboro man used a rifle to fatally shoot his estranged wife and another man before shooting himself.
Detective Sgt. Dan Goodwin said 50-year-old Royce Markam shot 40-year-old Joyce Markam in the driveway of her home just outside Murfreesboro yesterday morning then entered the house and shot 47-year-old James Hollowell.
Goodwin said Markam went back to the driveway where he shot himself near his wife.
Markam died while being worked on by paramedics and his wife died after being transported to Middle Tennessee Medical Center. Hollowell was found dead inside the home.
Investigators are still looking for a motive.
