E. Tenn man charged with killing mother, unborn child bound to grand jury

MORGAN COUNTY (WVLT) -- The case against a Morgan County man charged with killing a pregnant woman and her unborn child has been bound over to the grand jury.

Robert Stoll has been charged with two counts of second degree murder for the deaths of Jessica Hatmaker and her unborn daughter.

According to the Morgan County sheriff, the shooting happened when someone in Hatmaker's car tried to steal a radiator off Stoll’s property.

The sheriff said Stoll came out of his house and fired a shoot at the car as they fled, striking Hatmaker who was behind the wheel.

In my opinion he should not be charged with the murder of the unborn child if this country plays God and says that an unborn child is not a living thing and can be destroyed before it leaves the mother. If this man is charged with the murder of this unborn child, every woman that has ever had an abortion should be taken to court and charged with murder.
