CROSSVILLE, Tenn (WVLT) -- A Cumberland County man has died of a gunshot wound to the head, according to Cumberland County Sheriff's deputies.
Around 4:00 a.m. on Friday, deputies were called to 86 Jim Garrett Road for a report of a shooting.
Christ Burke, 19, was taken to the Cumberland Medical Center where he was transferred to Erlanger Medical Center and later died.
Deputies say he suffered a single gunshot wound to the head.
An autopsy is planned. Deputies did not say whether Burke died by accident, suicide, or homicide.
