NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- Tennessee's sales tax holiday will now be held the last weekend in April instead of over Easter weekend.
Gov. Phil Bredesen signed the bill to move the sales tax holiday into law on Tuesday.
The bill would make the new dates for the sales tax holiday April 25 through April 27. It had previously been scheduled for March 21 to March 23.
The sales tax break applies to clothing, school supplies and computers.
