Knoxville police looking for two robbery suspects

Knoxville (WVLT) - Knoxville Police are looking for two suspects they say robbed an East Knoxville convenience store.

Investigators say about 4:00 this morning, two light skinned black men entered the Mapco Express on Asheville Highway jumped over the counter, forced the clerk to the floor and took the money from the register.

Police say both men were wearing black coats, blue jeans, and a bandanna over their face.

One was five foot six, the other was about five foot eight.

Both were between 160 and 180 pounds.
