Missing Cocke County man found dead; victim of car crash

Hamblen County (WVLT) -- The Tennessee Highway Patrol has recovered the body of a man reported missing last Thursday in Cocke County.

Hamblen County coroner Eddie Davis confirms 48-year-old Michael Eugene Reynolds was found dead in his car.

The body was discovered by people hunting arrowheads near a bridge on Highway 160 in Hamblen County, just across the line from Cocke County.

Davis says Reynolds appears to be the victim of a single car accident.

The Tennessee Highway Patrol is handling the investigation.
