Early morning accident sends two people to the hospital

Knox County (WVLT) - Two people are in the hospital after a early morning accident in West Knox County.

Dispatchers say the two had to be cut from their vehicle after crashing on Ball Road around 1:15 this morning.

Rural Metro says both were taken to UT Medical Center, one was flown by Lifestar.

Ball Road was shut down for about an hour an a half, but was reopened just before 3:00 a.m.

Officials have not released the victim's names or conditions.

    It would be nice to have an update on this story, what caused this wreck and how are the men doing?
